From low-income patients to seniors, pediatric patients, and more, our compassionate pricing and other medical cannabis discount programs offer financial help for medical cannabis patients in need. Read on to see if you qualify.

Compassionate pricing

Our Compassionate Pricing Program provides a 30% discount* on all medical cannabis products for eligible patients, regardless of potency.

Who qualifies?

Patients earning $40,000 or under annually. 

What documents are required?

We require one of the following documents:   

  1. Proof of assistance from a federal or provincial disability program.  
  2. Copy of your T5007 Statement of Benefits or ‘Notice of Assessment’ from Canada Revenue Agency indicating a total income of $40,000 or under for the most current Tax Year.

How do I apply?  

To apply, please send your documents to registration@auroramedical.com. Your application will be reviewed within 3 to 5 business days.   

Disability or government subsidy

We offer a 30% discount* on all medical cannabis products to patients who are on disability or similar government subsidy programs.

Who qualifies? 

Patients enrolled in a federal or provincial disability or government subsidy program.  

What documents are required? 

Here are the provincial documents we accept as proof of eligibility for our Disability/Government Subsidy Pricing Program: 

Disability Documents (by Province)

  • Alberta Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH)  
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)  
  • Quebec Social Solidarity Program  
  • Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability (SAID)  
  • Government of BC Disability Assistance  

Federal Disability Documents

  • T4A(P) for CPP Disability - Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits for Disability  
  • Disability Tax Credit  

Seniors discount

We offer a 10% discount*on all medical cannabis products for patients 65 and older.

Who qualifies? 

Patients 65 and older who do not qualify for our compassionate pricing program.   

What documents are required? 

No documents are required.   

How do I apply?  

No action is required. If you are eligible for this discount, it will be automatically applied to all orders once you become an Aurora Medical patient.

First responders

As a token of thanks to those keeping us safe and healthy, we offer all first responders with a 40% discount* on all medical cannabis products.

Who qualifies?

Paramedics, firefighters, police, healthcare practitioners, and nurses.

What documents are required?

A professional identification card.

How do I apply?

Email your documentation to registration@auroramedical.com. Your application will be reviewed within 3-5 business days.

Pediatric patients

In support of our younger patients, many of whom suffer from complex and difficult-to-treat medical conditions, we offer a 30% discount* on their medical cannabis.

Who qualifies?  

Patients aged 18 and under qualify as pediatric patients.  

What documents are required? 

No documents are required. We verify the date of birth listed on the patient’s medical document.  

How do I apply? 

No action is required. This discount is automatically applied to eligible patients’ accounts. 

Veteran spouse or still serving

As a thank you for your hard work and dedication, we’re happy to provide a 25% discount* to the spouses of Veterans and those still serving.

Who qualifies? 

To qualify, you must be a spouse of a Veteran patient registered with Aurora Medical and currently living at the same address or an actively serving Veteran patient.   

What documents are required? 

For Veteran spouses, we verify that they share the same address as the Veteran patient who is registered with Aurora Medical. For those still serving, we ask for a copy of their CAF card.  

How do I apply? 

If you qualify, please call our Client Care team at 1-877-928-7672 and they will ensure that the discount is automatically applied to your account.
